Established in 2000, The Sussex Bookcase Company is run by Nick Holt. Nick started working with wood professionally in 1989 initially making boat decking, and making furniture since 1990. He says, “I’ve loved making things from wood for many years even before it became my way of making a living. I created a crib for my daughter, now 21, and still enjoy working with wood today.”
